I created this illustrated comp for a client showing an ice age era boy being confronted by a very hungry wolf for the first time! I tried to evoke a classic adventure quality to it. Evoking a heightened sense of intense danger and mystery. I used dramatic lighting, vibrant color, and tight composition to heighten the overall tension. With the campfire as a dynamic light source I wanted to direct the viewers eyes right on the main character of the narrative for this piece.
